Description
Yield estimates for each location are derived from the PFR suitability/yield data.
The adjusted yield for each location was calculated using the PFR location specific yield multiplied by the ratio of the average of the yield for highest suitability class (class 1) across all locations in the PFR data to the yield in the base information from which the economic data was generated.
The base information is derived from national average onion yields 2018 - 2020 from Fresh Facts publications for those periods.
